Supermicro X11DPi-N

A mainstay of Supermicro’s dual socket LGA3647 motherboards will no doubt be the X11DPi-N. We reviewed the Supermciro X11DPi-NT not long ago which offers 10GbE network for those who need faster network speeds, while the X11DPi-N provides dual 1GbE ports for reduced entry cost to this platform while retaining the same feature set.

GIGABYTE Z370 AORUS GAMING K3

With the impressive CPU performance in mind, I’m eager to see what the Gaming K3 has to offer against some pretty fierce competition. Equipped with full RGB lighting and a kick-ass stock design, it’s obviously tailored to the gaming crown. However, with Dual M.2, ALC1220 Audio, Intel Gaming LAN, USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A/C, Smart Fan 5, Anti-Sulfur Resistors, and more, it’s packing plenty of punch for any system build.

BIOSTAR Racing X370GTN

Despite chopping apart a good chipset to fit into Mini-ITX, Biostar delivers a board that performs on par with the competition at a price that can’t be ignored. The X370 GTN is a great Mini-ITX board if Wi-Fi isn’t necessary, but a little too rough around the edges. The low price earns its approval for lower-cost mini-PC builders.

Supermicro SuperO C7Z370-CG-L

Last week a package arrived from Supermicro, and to my surprise, I found Supermicro’s brand new C7Z370-CG-L inside. The C7Z370-CG-L has slight upgrades and major aesthetic changes compared to the C7Z270-CG, many of them good changes. For starters, Supermicro has realized that a lot of people are asking for all black motherboards so that the board can fade into the background.

GIGABYTE Z370N WIFI

Of course, layout is key for such a small PCB. You may think that Gigabyte would take the existing Z270N WiFi, upgrade the circuity to meet 8th Generation Core standards, and be done with it. That’s not the case because the board has had a solid redesign.
