The PCB comes in ATX dimensions and is black, while the heatsinks themselves are silver. From the iF International Forum Design GmbH – based in the state capital of Lower Saxony – the circuit board was able to claim the Design Award 2022 alongside the MEG Z690 GODLIKE.

There are four black slots for DDR5 memory modules. There are latches on both sides. To activate dual-channel mode, you need to install two brackets through the slot from each other. Intel Core 12 Gen processors use a dual memory controller. The emphasis is on DDR5 because this is one of the main innovations of the new platform and it needs to be promoted.

The MSI MPG Z690 Force WiFi arrives in a cardboard box with an aesthetic that is out of the ordinary for the brand, much whiter as a hallmark of this family. Of course, as usual, it shows us on the back its main characteristics and technical specifications, being inside well protected on the first level by a cardboard frame and with the accessories on a second level and in a box on it.

There’s a total of three PCIe slots on the Z690 FORCE WIFI, with the top two slots supporting PCIe 5.0 in 1 x PCIe x16 or 2 x PCIe x8 configuration, and the most bottom slot supporting PCIe 3.0 in PCIe x4 configuration.
Underneath the heatsinks is a total of five M.2 slots, which is a really good addition to those who want only M.2 SSDs for their system but you’ll have to take note of the connection for each slot – The first M.2 slot from the CPU, while the rest are from the chipset. Just like the Z690 CARBON WIFI, you’ll get the same EZ M.2 clips to lock your SSD in place.
