You can find everything from support for Intel’s 11th Gen CPUs, to PCIe 4.0, WiFi 6E and more. The Master also features an advanced thermal design, 18+1 power phases for all our power and overclocking needs, USB 3.2 Gen2x2, ESS Sabre Hi-Fi 9118 DAC, 3x M.2 connections, RGB Fusion 2.0 and even Dual BIOS just in case anything goes wrong when overclocking or flashing the BIOS. This a very feature-packed board and should have almost everything one would need when upgrading to the new Z590 platform.

MPG Z590 GAMING CARBON WIFI – eTeknix

Coming in at £311/$355 at the time of writing this, the MSI MPG Z590 Gaming Carbon WIFI has quite a lot to offer for the price. As with most PC components, motherboard prices are creeping up these days. While this isn’t the cheapest Z590 board, it offers plenty of bang for the buck and has some additional features that others don’t. Looking at similarly priced boards from competitors, this one has a couple of extra features that aren’t seen on all making the cost just that much more bearable.

ASUS ROG STRIX Z590-I GAMING WIFI – eTeknix

There’s not a whole lot of included accessories in the box, but it should be just enough for most people. Alongside our manuals and driver CD, we have some stickers which hopefully some of will be useful, our WIFI antenna, some SATA cables, Zip ties, RGB splitter and a lovely little front panel extender that will plug directly into the motherboard, then we can plug our power/reset button cables and the likes into it. This will make our lives much easier especially as this is an ITX board and once you’ve got your RAM, GPU and CPU cooler installed, there generally isn’t a whole lot of finger room to go plugging stuff in.

MSI has spared no expense when it comes to the quality and design of this board. As for quality, the Z590 ACE has plenty of heatsinks, M.2 shields and cooling solutions so you can push all your hardware to its absolute limits. Design-wise, we have a ridiculous amount of features incorporated into the board, again, allow users to push everything as far as they physically can. MSI’s MEG ACE boards are only a small step down from their Godlike range but feature a lot of the same great quality and design.

If you want one of the best Z590 motherboards out there, before prices start getting absolutely crazy, then yes! This board has almost everything anyone could want from the Z590 platform when paired with an 11th gen CPU from Intel. Most people will not need to look further than this unless they are an extreme overclocker in which case they can look at the MAXIMUS XIII Extreme. However, the Extreme costs over twice as much as the Hero, thus making the Hero the much more viable option for your everyday user.

Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Master comes in a standard branded box (a kind of grooved surface is very pleasant to the touch). The kit is placed in traditional compartments inside.

The delivery set is not bad: in addition to traditional elements such as a user manual and SATA cables, there is an antenna for the built-in Wi-Fi module on a magnetic base, screws for M.2 slots, splitters for connecting backlights, a proprietary G-Connector adapter, wires with temperature sensors, a noise detector , bonus stickers.

The addition of the M.2 2230 WiFi module is nice to see. Allowing for WiFi 6 will be a welcome addition. But wait, they didn’t actually include the module needed to use this feature so you will have to go and buy one for yourself. Not the end of the world, just an extra expense when other competitor boards may come with a similar solution. There is also the case of the M.2 being mounted on the backside of the motherboard. This is nice to see as at least they didn’t just get rid of it, just moved it so users can still make use of this nice NVMe Gen 3 speeds.
