There are 8 places for installing hybrid cooling fans that also accept the installation of water cooling connectors, which were previously It was limited to certain places only, and if you make a mistake by installing it in another place, the pump or panel will be damaged, the speed of the fans can be regulated with temperature reading from sensors through the BIOS of the board or an attached program from within the operating system.

MSI opted to color the MAG B550 Tomahawk in a mixture of black and gray. Black is the more prominent color, but there’s a good amount of gray that adds contrast and keeps the board from looking too dull. MSI also put some RGB LEDs around the chipset heatsink that add some much-needed color to the board when it’s powered up.

With the B550 chipset, AMD has added a cheap alternative to the X570. With the appearance of the more modern chipset, the board partners have of course also presented new mainboards, which have become more attractive overall. TAIPEI, TAIWAN, November 30, 2020 –ASRock announced a new partnership with Razer to develop the ASRock Taichi Razer Edition line of motherboards, the world’s first motherboard that is natively integrated with Razer Chroma RGB lighting.
Razer Chroma RGB is the world’s largest lighting ecosystem for gaming devices which supports over 500 devices, 150 natively integrated games and over 15 million users worldwide. The board itself has a number of amazing features to look over, starting Dual Channel ECC/ Non-ECC Unbuffered DDR4, 4 DIMMs. You got Direct 16 Phases Digital VRM Solution with 70A Power Stage, along with an advanced thermal design with Fins-Array Heatsink, Direct Touch Heatpipe, and Thermal Baseplate. The plate is a bit of an oddity, depending on the model you’re hooking it into, it can make thermal contact with parts of the PCB, so something to keep an eye on when installing.

Starting at the top, the B550i Gaming currently supports Ryzen 3000 series, but ASUS does have plans to support Zen 3 with an upcoming BIOS update. As noted above, this motherboard is on the B550 chipset platform and, as such, supports DDR4 memory – 2133 JEDEC as a minimum with 5100+ speeds capable with overclocking.

Following its usual Taichi design scheme, Asrock festoons the B550 Taichi with gears along with a black, steel-gray, and gold color scheme. Aesthetics are a matter of opinion, but personally I feel this board looks spectacular. Black is the dominant color, but there’s enough gray that the board doesn’t feel overly dark, nor does the amount of steel feel overwhelming.
