ASUS PRIME Z690M-PLUS D4 – iXBT

Asus Prime Z690M-Plus D4 is a versatile and relatively inexpensive solution. It has 15 USB ports of different kinds (including 1 USB 3.2 Gen2×2 and 1 USB 3.2 Gen2), 2 PCIe x16 slots, 2 PCIe x1 slots, 3 M.2 slots, 4 SATA ports and 7 fan connectors. In principle, for a mid-level model, peripheral support is very decent. The board is not equipped with a wireless network module, but there is an M.2 slot for self-installation of an adapter like the AX201. The board has a good cooling system for almost every potentially heated element, but the drives in the M.2 slots devoid of cooling are a minus.
