ASRock X399M Taichi

Overclocking features are still maintained, and overall quality doesn’t seem to have taken a hit. Many vendors have opted not to venture into the niche market of small form factor motherboards, but ASRock goes head first into these markets as we have seen with ASRock’s Intel HEDT motherboards, so let’s see what they have for AMD’s HEDT platform.

ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-I GAMING

Despite the diminutive form factor ASUS Have managed to squeeze and awful lot on the Strix ITX PCB. From the features we’ve come to expect such as the SupremeFX audio, AC WiFi and GameFirst LAN, there are a few that we’re pleased to see have made the journey from their ATX motherboards, including dual M.2 ports, dedicated water pump headers and even a USB 3.1 front panel connector.

GIGABYTE Z370 AORUS GAMING K3

The K3 version of the motherboard has not yet hit the US market, but it could down the line as a much more affordable Z370 motherboard. The market for affordable Z370 motherboards is huge since the B and H series motherboards are not currently available, so if you guys a non-K 8th CPU you still need a Z370 motherboard to run it.

EVGA Z370 Micro

Thanks to EVGA, we’ll be taking a quick look at their Z370 Micro ATX Motherboard. A few months ago, we reviewed their X299 Micro motherboard, which proved to be a great all-rounder and a solid performer. The EVGA Z370 Micro should be no different. The EVGA Z370 Micro is one of the first Z370 motherboards on the market that comes in a micro ATX form factor, and is suitable for all Intel 8th genCore processors (Coffee Lake).

They had the ROG Stix X299-XE Gaming and I figured I should get it in and see just how it compares to all of the other X299 boards we have had in.
