ASRock Z590 PG Velocita – Modders Inc

ASRock Z590 PG Velocita is one of the newest motherboards by ASRock and offers exactly that. Velocita, which is Italian for ‘Speed’ is the newest member of the Phantom Gaming line by ASRock. This board promises extreme stability, performance, and to be future-ready to support Intel Gen 10 and 11 processors and their features. Velocita supports DDR4 Memory modules (up to 4800MHz OC) and PCI 4.0 x16 boards. This ATX motherboard is comfortably equipped with numerous SATA3 connectors and three M.2 slots for NVME drives(Gen 3 and 4 PCIe).

AMD AM5 / 600-Series Chipset Specs Leak?

Without a doubt, the biggest shock is that the AM5 platform, at least initially on the 600 series motherboards, will not offer PCI-E 5.0 support. It appears that, at least for the moment, this will remain entirely exclusive to the Zen4 Genoa platform utilized for their HEDT EPYC processors. – The plot, however, does thicken.
It is being suggested that the AM5 socket will not be introduced until 2022 (and possibly quite late in the year). This means several things. Firstly, that it’s unlikely we’re going to get Ryzen 6000 CPU releases this year. Secondly, that Intel is going to have a pretty good head start in DDR5 memory. Thirdly though, and this is a big one, the gap is going to potentially be even bigger with Intel offering PCI-E 5.0 support while AMD, even with the launch of this new AM5 platform, will apparently not.

In our testing, all boards performed well, easily mixing in with our other test results, including full-size and more-expensive options. Out of the box, the ASRock board is the most hamstrung by Intel’s power limits, while the other boards tend to run a bit more free in comparison. But all you need to do to get the ASRock up to par with the other boards is to raise its power limits. The performance difference was negligible outside of the long-running tests, where the turbo time/limits come into play. Gaming performance was similar among all the boards, as was memory bandwidth and latency testing. Outside of a couple of outliers, all boards performed similarly, especially when the playing field was leveled by removing the stock limits.

Supermicro SuperO C9Z590-CGW – TweakTown

The SuperO C9Z590-CGW is one of two SKUs available for purchase with the Z590 chipset; the other, the C9Z590-CG, would omit the W in the model and come without WiFi6 and BT 5.1. That said, both SKUs are stacked with connectivity, including 5, 10, and 20Gb/s USB 3.2 on the rear I/O and 10Gbe from the Marvell AQC113C chipset.
Running through the platform specifications, this board does support 11th Gen Intel Rocket Lake CPUs, with RAM support for JEDEC 2133-3200MHz and XMP up to 4000MHz. The maximum memory capacity is 128GB with 32GB DIMMs.

Over the last year, we’ve seen several B550 models, with the vast majority of these catering to desktop users and gamers looking for a cost-efficient option to use with AMD’s Ryzen processors. Back in January, we reported that ASRock Rack had readied up a new B550 model with a more professional flavor, the B550D4-4L. ASUS ROG STRIX Z590-E GAMING WIFI – Vortez

In the aftermath of the Intel 11th Gen. launch, we’re left with a multitude of Intel Z590 motherboards to examine. To take full advantage of Rocket Lake, it is advised to indulge in one of these new motherboards so that the very latest tech/features are available.
Although the ROG STRIX Z590-E Gaming WiFi is defined as ROG’s flagship (in their own words) this motherboard isn’t their top-of-the-line model, with a number of other boards being above it in the stack. For Z590, GIGABYTE is focusing on several key features for the Master, the first being the Extreme Power Design using 90A SPS for each phase along with high current MOSFETS and Tantalum Polymer Capacitors.
