As you might expect with it donning MSI’s Creation badge, this is not a cheap motherboard, and combined with the standard hike you can expect by opting for X570, you’re looking at £450 or $500.

I’ve been reviewing 11 X570 motherboards this week, and I must admit that all of them look fantastic. However, the robust and aggressive design of the MSI MEG X570 ACE is hard to ignore. The black and silver cooling plate that covers the southbridge extends over the two M.2 slots, providing cooling and protection for your SSDs. The first of these uses the CPU’s PCIe 3.0 x4 connection, while the second is routed through the motherboard chipset, and is actually a PCIe 2.0 x4 connection.
