GIGABYTE Z590 AORUS MASTER – ThinkComputers

Z590 is exciting from a chipset standpoint and Intel boards are finally going to get some of the features AMD boards have had for a while now, the biggest being support for PCI-Express 4.0 from the CPU.  So if you have an 11th Gen CPU the PCIe and M.2 slots powered by the CPU will offer Gen4 connectivity.  You are also going to get USB 3.2 gen 2×2 from the chipset as well as native support for 3200 MHz DDR4 memory.  Our first Z590 motherboard we are taking a look at is the Gigabyte Z590 AORUS Master.  In the AORUS line Gigabyte is offering 9 Z590 boards with the AORUS Master sitting towards the top of the product stack.  It is going to offer a 19-phase VRM with 90A power stages, three M.2 slots, WiFi 6E, 10GbE LAN, and that sleek AORUS look with a full-cover aluminum backplate.

GIGABYTE Z590 AORUS XTREME – GreenTech_Reviews

The motherboard is made on the basis of an 8-layer black PCB in the E-ATX format (30.5 x 27.1 cm), so it is not possible to install it in every “standard case”, taking into account the connectors going to the side (in particular, the 24-pin one). But this is not a problem, because the assembled system is unlikely to be compact – no one will save on the case anymore. This board, after all, belongs to the “maximum possible for enthusiasts” class, not under the table. The design is dominated by black and gray colors with mirrored elements.

GIGABYTE AMD X570S Board Shows Up in CPU-Z

Courtesy of Tum_Apisak, we have the first CPU-Z Validator report of a GIGBAYTE motherboard based off of the AMD X570S. In this case, we’re looking at the pairing of a GIGABYTE X570S AORUS PRO AX with an AMD Ryzen 7 5700G. Details on this yet-to-be-announced X570S chipset are still extremely sparse, but some hope the “S” is for silent. In other words, an X570 on a better process with lower power output and reduced thermals. Check back for more reports as they roll in on AMD’s X570S.

GIGABYTE Z590 AORUS MASTER – Vortez

MASTER delivers a strong feature-set which covers all but one area – there are no Thunderbolt 4 ports. We’d have liked to see such a feature on a high-end solution like this. Regardless of this, we still get a generous selection of USB 3.2, M.2 storage support and DDR4 compatibility up to 5400MHz. For those wanting more than the average slice of features, MASTER supplies voltage checkpoints, LED debug, onboard power/reset buttons and a dual BIOS switch. There is no denying that this is a well-designed motherboard which caters for tech enthusiasts.

GIGABYTE Z590 VISION G – TweakTown

Coming in at $100 US cheaper than the Vision D, the Vision G sacrifices significant “creator “features like Thunderbolt 4 and WiFi6 to reach its $279.99 MSRP. GIGABYTE does try to make up for it with an attractive aesthetic, and add-ons like VisionLink that enable Pen Displays like the Cintiq from Wacom to pull up to 60w of power, along with its video signal and data through a single USB-C cable.

Not all is bad with the Vision G; it’s a solid board with an ample power design that can capably handle the top level 11900K Processor’s needs. Additionally, it offers a ton of USB 3.2 connectivity both on the rear I/O and front panel chassis connections.
