GIGABYTE’s AMD “X570S” Chipset Motherboards Hit EEC

Courtesy of @KOMACHI_ENSAKA, we have new information today on what appears to be an upcoming chipset from AMD, the X570S. Numerous boards based off of the purported new chipset have hit the EEC. These are the first motherboards based off of “X570S” to do so. What boards are currently listed? Well, we have:

X570S AORUS MASTER
X570S AORUS ELITE AX
X570S AORUS PRO AX
X570S AERO G
X570SI AORUS PRO AX
X570S AORUS ELITE
X570S GAMING X
X570S UD

Now, it’s quite possible this new chipset will support the rumored Zen 3+ processors, perhaps debuting this fall prior to a Zen 4 launch in 2022. These may be an XT style release, though what improvements we have in this new “X570S” chipset…? . Perhaps no more than a little added polish and a matching price boost. We’ll wait for more details.
