MSI GeForce RTX 3080 SUPRIM X

MSI’s new custom GeForce RTX 3080 SUPRIM X graphics card is one of the biggest, most bad-ass RTX 3080s on the market. It sports a tweaked look that looks just… I don’t even have words, it’s just so nice in person and in your hand (and more importantly, in your gaming PC).

The company has used some gorgeous brushed aluminum on the shroud and backplate, which looks absolutely stunning in person with RGB lighting flashing off of it — in my case, 32GB of G.SKILL Trident Z RGB memory. It seriously looks so nice installed into the PC.

MSI GeForce RTX 3080 SUPRIM X

MSI released a beast of a graphics card with their GeForce RTX 3080 Suprim X. The GPU is the largest GPU that I’ve ever put my hands on. MSI was very quiet on the specifications and even the looks of the graphics card before it showed up at my house. When the shipping box arrived, it was large enough that I was wondering if MSI had shipped two GPUs. The GPU even comes with its own GPU Support bracket.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 FE

Out of the three GeForce 30 series cards that NVIDIA announced back in September the one I was most excited about was the RTX 3070.  The main reason was mainly price, the RTX 3070 is only $499.  Lower-priced cards end up getting in the hands of more gamers and with the RTX 3070 NVIDIA is claiming better performance than a $1200 RTX 2080 Ti!

MSI GeForce RTX 3080 SUPRIM X

In this review, we benchmark the GeForce RTX 3080 SUPRIM X from MSI; yes MSI is back with a new premium model and a new cooler, of course, a triple-fan solution with an otherwise heavily customized product. With their aim to perform at low acoustics combined with a beautiful design card, let’s start this review, shall we?

MSI GeForce RTX 3090 SUPRIM X

MSI offers a super over-engineered GeForce RTX 3090 SUPRIM X edition graphics card. Tweaked to the max, huge power delivery, and a card that remains shockingly silent for a product in this enthusiast range. Well, that and of course 24 GB of the fastest GDDR6X memory your money can get you. What will beefed up 10469 shader core powered product offer you?

Palit GeForce RTX 3070 Jetstream OC

We benchmark, review and thus test the GeForce RTX 3070 from a board partner that has been among us for a long time, our friends from Palit released their new GeForce RTX 3070 Jetstream OC. We’ll seat it onto our test system to see how well this product performs. Palit overhauled the look and design for the Jetstreams series, and it looks dignified in a darkened aesthetic design. This product will sit spot on GeForce RTX 2080 Ti performance levels and, in due time, will be its replacement.

COLORFUL iGame GeForce RTX 3080 Vulcan OC 10G-V

COLORFUL has also upgraded the cooler on its new iGame RTX 3080 Vulcan OC 10G-V, with the new “Storm Chaser” cooled that is packed with a triple-fan cooler with a new 13-blade design. It also looks mean AF in person, too.

The back of the iGame RTX 3080 Vulcan OC 10G-V has the best backplate of any custom GeForce RTX 3080 so far, at least in my opinion. I love the backplate and the LCD display looks great in my rig — it would look great in your rig, any gaming rig.

Undervolting NVIDIA’s RTX 3080 / RTX 3090

I think most of us are pretty familiar with the concept of overclocking. This is something that has been done to both CPU’s and GPU’s for many years. Usually you just increase the clockspeed, sometimes with an extra increase in voltage and presto! Increased performance. Or that is how it used to be. For a few generations of GPU’s now the GPU’s have no longer been running with a set clockspeed instead boosting to a higher clockspeed that is partly determined by power target limit and temperatures. So while the Gigabyte RTX 3080 Eagle OC have a 1755 MHz Boost clock it actually often boosts even higher (I’ve seen up to 1900 MHz).
