ASRock Fatal1ty X370 Gaming K4

The ASRock Fatal1ty X370 GAMING K4 is right in the middle of ASRock’s AMD X370 product stack and is clearly focused on gaming; I mean, it’s in the name, right? Yet with a very modest price of roughly US$150, this isn’t a board for a person wanting to clock the crap out of their CPU and RAM. It’s not meant to be the best there is; rather, it’s an affordable option with the majority of features present, but not all.

ASRock Fatal1ty X370 Gaming K4

After taking a look at ASRock’s extremely well equipped X370 Taichi earlier this month today I will give ASRock’s Fatal1ty X370 Gaming K4 a close examination. The two motherboards have similar features, but the Taichi is priced higher because it carries some more features than the X370 Gaming K4. Today I will see exactly what the differences between the two motherboards are, and if it’s worth saving or spending.

ASRock Fatal1ty X370 Gaming K4

ASRock’s Fatal1ty series has refined the standard for using red and black in its motherboard schemes and marketing. The early executions were quite sloppy, and aesthetically this X370 Gaming K4 is a step in the right direction. The large box shares the same footprint as the X370 Taichi, and the graphic arrangement seems much more balanced with the extra real estate.
