ASRock B460 Steel Legend – PC Magazine

The B460 Steel Legend comes decorated with a camouflage aesthetic that’s a mixture of white, gray, and black. Far from helping the board to blend into the background, this actually helps the board to stand out in a windowed PC chassis. Though it’s not the only board we’ve seen with this kind of digital-camouflage PCB pattern, the Asrock manages to present its own look and feel.

ASRock B460 Steel Legend

Today we test on OCinside.de with the ASRock B460 Steel Legend a brand new motherboard for current Intel LGA1200 processors. The ASRock B460 Steel Legend offers a solid basic equipment including 2.5 Gigabit LAN and some features like the addressable RGB lighting at the chipset cooler and even under the motherboard. However, the inexpensive Intel B460 chipset also has disadvantages in overclocking.

ASRock B460 Steel Legend

The ASRock B460 Steel Legend is an awesomely named mid-range B460 entry. At $120 USD it’s what we’d call a mid-range B460 board. A look over the specs indicate that your $120 is well spent on some important areas. You get a pair of heatsink covered M.2 slots, an e-key M.2 slot for an optional Wi-Fi card, a front USB Type-C header and a good helping of RGB onboard, plus an additional two RGB headers and two ARGB headers.
