Many will already ask themselves why we decided to do a short test with the MSI MAG Z690 TOMAHAWK WIFI. The reason is quite obvious: The substructure of the MAG Z690 TOMAHAWK WIFI used by MSI is, with a few exceptions, identical to the already tested MSI MAG Z690 TORPEDO (Hardwareluxx test) . The connections, but also the VRM area, were adopted 1:1 and so a 16+1+1 phase design is used. On the one hand, the aforementioned exceptions apply to the Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX210 module, which is not present in the MAG Z690 TORPEDO.
