ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E GAMING

The ROG Strix range has yielded some excellent motherboards for Asus over the years and has already spanned both Intel and AMD sockets successfully. However, you’d be right in thinking that, while this is one of the cheaper X570 boards we’ve tested, it’s still on the pricey side given its Intel Z370 equivalent cost just £207 when we reviewed it less than two years ago.

MSI X570-A PRO

The VRMs offer a relatively lowly eight phases to the CPU (10 in total), and under load these did get undeniably toasty, with the software reporting 78°C under a sustained 10-minute load test and our own manual measurements (via IR thermometer) being only a few degrees south of this.

MSI MEG X570 ACE

MSI has their work cut out for them, and they came prepared. The MEG X570 ACE features a heat pipe connecting the chipset and VRM heatsinks, so that the chipset fan, which turns off completely when not needed, can stay powered down for as much as possible. Aside from the heatpipe, the MEG X570 ACE will have to prove its worth through performance and overclocking, so let’s get to it.

ASRock X570 Taichi

Today we take a look at ASRock’s X570 Taichi motherboard, a line of motherboards we have traditionally been very impressed with.
