MSI has done something fantastic here that isn’t immediately obvious. This board is called the MSI X299 SLI PLUS. That name, as simple as it might seem, tells you exactly what this board is for. It’s built for SLI use, plus some minor overclocking. Plus U.2. Plus excellent audio. Plus a huge list of compatible memory. Plus this, plus that, the list goes on and on, but you get the point.

GIGABYTE X299 AORUS Gaming 7

The Gaming 7 also combines the Killer network for the Wireless with the built in Intel Gigabit LAN for those who prefer a hard-wired connection.
