ASRock P55 Deluxe

ASRock P55 Deluxe  @ Motherboards.org

“ASRock is not well known in the enthusiast community as they often have niche motherboards based on esoteric chipsets with unique features found nowhere else. This board is the first board I’ve seen with the new SATA 6Gb/s interface and has good features and great performance, making it a solid choice for a Hot Product award.”

ASUS P7P55D Deluxe P55 Lynnfield Motherboard

ASUS P7P55D Deluxe P55 Lynnfield Motherboard @ PC Perspective

“This feature-rich, high-end motherboard comes fully stocked with tons of custom features that users won’t find anywhere else like Express Gate, ASUS’s exclusive OS that allows users quick access to the internet and other apps without having to boot into Windows. ASUS also threw in a MemOK! module on board for users to check their system memory compatibility.”

ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO Review

ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO Review @ Motherboards.org

“For the target market of the AMD Socket AM3 CPU purchaser the ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO doesn’t get much better than this as the board looks good, performs great and has the features you would want from a motherboard with integrated graphics. The price point on the ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO is $99.99 on Newegg, making it competitive with the other 785 boards out there.”

MSI NF980-G65 Motherboard

MSI NF980-G65 Motherboard @ Neoseeker

“Overall, MSI did much better using the NForce 980a chipset than ASUS with the M4N82 Deluxe. If one shops for an SLI-licensed AMD board, I have no choice but to recommend the NF980-G65.”

AMD Motherboards Coming Soon…

MBR: Intel DP55KG / Core i5 / Core i7 Review!

I have posted my take on Intel’s top of the line DP55KG “Kingsberg” motherboard, as well as an overview of performance between the Core i5 750, Core i7 870 and their big brother LGA1366 counterpart, the 965 Extreme. If you’re in the market for a P55 board and processor, you’ll want to give this a good look. Given the discount these boards and processors are running at, this is an excellent option for anyone on a tighter budget than the X58 and LGA1366 would allow. What do we think of this board and processors? Check out the review to find out!

Gigabyte GA-P55-UD3P

Gigabyte GA-P55-UD3P @ MadShrimps

“MB Chipset is P55 and all MB makers also launched the products at the same time. Currently, the P55 MB price is between 160~280 USD. If you want to buy LGA 1156 platform, i5-750 plus 160USD P55 MB is the best C/P. Certainly, if you need HT and also affordable, you also can consider i7-860. Merely, i7-860 price is very close to LGA1366 platform.”

Elitegroup P55H-A

Elitegroup P55H-A @ Hardware Overclock

“Hardwareoverclock.com has reviewed the ECS Elitegroup P55H-A, a very interesting price/performance Socket 1156 board. More about the features, overclocking and performance you can find in the review.”

MSI 785GM-E65 Motherboard

MSI 785GM-E65 Motherboard @ iXBT Labs

“We’ll examine another interpretation of integrated graphics, this time based on the 785G chipset. How would you like a microATX board with nearly all possible interfaces, but also equipped with a heat-piped cooling system, an on-board quick overclocking switch, and other attributes of motherboards for enthusiasts?”

Gigabyte GA-P55 UD3R Review

Gigabyte GA-P55 UD3R Review @ OCClub

“First off, I have to say that the GA-P55-UD3R shocked me when I was able to push the i7 870 to almost 4.4GHz. It fell just a tick below, because at a 210MHz bclock it did not want to give me any stability, even at reduced speeds. With that said, a bclock of 209MHz with a 21x clock multiplier proved fruitful and allowed the UD3R to shine. While I had problems going over 1600MHz with a set of dual sided DIMMs on the P55-UD6, I did not have that problem on the P55-UD3R.”
