Below you’ll find a selection of six benchmarks from the SPECviewperf 9.0 benchmarking suite. These are the tests where the graphics adapter was not the limitation in the system for overall performance. If you’ve ever run this benchmark you’ll be familiar with those tests that result in 1.5FPS as an example of where little more than a different graphics adapter will help. In each of these benchmarks we see excellent performance gains from the move to 1066MHz, ranging from 5% to nearly 8% depending upon the application. Clearly these applications will see a nice boost solely from the increased bandwidth.
