This MSI MEG Z590 ACE is built around Intel’s new chipset , the Z590. It is part of the “MSI MEG” series which represents the top of the range of the brand. This motherboard retains the LGA-1200 socket from the Z490 chipset which will allow you to reuse your cooling system if you wish to upgrade your configuration. MSI’s current Z590 product stack consists of 11 models, with most falling into the MEG (high-end) MPG (mid-range) and MAG (budget) lineups. We’re greeted by several familiar SKUs and a couple of new ones. Starting at the top is the flagship MEG Z590 Godlike, the Ace we’re looking at now, and a Mini ITX MEG Z590I Unify. MAG – MSI tries to refresh MAG lovers with new color matching. MAG Z590 TOMAHAWK WIFI and MAG B560 TOMAHAWK WIFI both have graphite extended heatsink. Otherwise, most PRO series motherboards, including Z590, B560 and H510, will have new cooling solution—Frozr AI Cooling, which will detect CPU and GPU temperatures and automatically adjust system fan duty to a proper value. In order to dissipate heat effectively, Z590 PRO WIFI and Z590-A PRO both have M.2 Shield Frozr which is made up for giving out heat from M.2 Gen 4.
