EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 XC3 Ultra Gaming

The metal backplate is more for show than performance, as it touches nothing of genuine note on the rear of the PCB. Unlike most competitors, the PCB extends the entire length of the card – others leave a large section bare on the left-hand side for through-the-board cooling – but we see no downside to this as the upper heatsink is, as you will see, capable of dealing with the higher wattage produced by the RTX 3080.

COLORFUL iGame GeForce RTX 3080 Vulcan OC

The GeForce RTX 3080 “Ampere” is NVIDIA’s latest flagship graphics card despite the fact that it sells the slightly faster RTX 3090 under the same GeForce brand. This is because the RTX 3080 is designed to provide 4K Ultra HD AAA gaming with RTX enabled, while the RTX 3090 with its 24 GB of memory provides more of an uplift over the RTX 3080 to creators than gamers.

GIGABYTE RTX 3080 Eagle OC 10G

I think a lot of people expected Nvidia to pull something similar off with the RTX30 -series but so far what we’ve got is far more appealing. Today I am reviewing the Gigabyte RTX 3080 Eagle OC. ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3080 OC Edition

With all of the news of the cap issue on GeForce RTX 3080 graphics cards, ASUS has your back (and the back of your card) as the company is used to the world of high-end power-hungry graphics cards. ASUS doesn’t skimp on its ROG Strix family of cards, which is one of the first super high-end custom RTX 3080s through my lab (apart from MSI’s custom RTX 3080 GAMING X TRIO).

Another day, another NVIDIA shortage…

“I believe that demand will outstrip all of our supply through the year,” Huang said, “Remember, we’re also going into the double-whammy. The double-whammy is the holiday season. Even before the holiday season, we were doing incredibly well, and then you add on top of it the ‘Ampere factor,’ and then you add on top of that the ‘Ampere holiday factor,’ and we’re going to have a really really big Q4 season.”
