Finally came to the conclusion with a review of BIOSTAR Z690A VALKYRIE, the latest Z690 chipset motherboard that today I must say that the performance is excellent. Fully compatible with Intel Core i9 12900K CPU. Although the BIOS is not a perfect version, much. But it can do a good job with full support for all Intel 12th Gen CPUs in Alder Lake code. As you have seen in the test with a large CPU model, the top Core i9 12900K is overclocked at a speed of 5.1Ghz, All Core power is only 1.25-1.27v, bus RAM is 4600Mhz all the time.

BIOSTAR Z590 VALKYRIE – TweakTown

This board came out of nowhere and, surprisingly enough, is a rather solid platform. I take points away for Biostar putting Wi-Fi antennas on the board and not providing the $15 CNVI module, so they are actually usable, but nonetheless, this board is outfitted with all the connectivity; including 2.5Gbe and USB 3.2 Gen2x2, that we have seen on all other Z590 platforms.

This BIOSTAR Z590I VALKYRIE is built around  Intel’s new chipset , the Z590. This motherboard retains the   LGA-1200 socket from the   Z490 chipset which will allow you to reuse your cooling system if you wish to  upgrade  your configuration. As a reminder, the   LGA-1200 socket is different from the LGA-1151 since we go from 1151  pin  to 1200  pin  at the  socket.
