MSI MAG X570S TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI – Laurent’s Choice

We are dealing with 14 60 amps Powers stages, 12 of which are CPU centric. We have 12 direct phases, delivering a whooping 720 AMPs to our CPU.
Obviously more than you’ll ever need to run and severely overclock any processors featured in the Ryzen 3000 and 5000 series. But most importantly and identical configuration to its aging MAG X570 TOMAHAWK which is not a bad thing since it was the best performing mid-budget gamer of its class.

MSI MPG Z690 FORCE WIFI – Tech Critter

There’s a total of three PCIe slots on the Z690 FORCE WIFI, with the top two slots supporting PCIe 5.0 in 1 x PCIe x16 or 2 x PCIe x8 configuration, and the most bottom slot supporting PCIe 3.0 in PCIe x4 configuration.

Underneath the heatsinks is a total of five M.2 slots, which is a really good addition to those who want only M.2 SSDs for their system but you’ll have to take note of the connection for each slot – The first M.2 slot from the CPU, while the rest are from the chipset. Just like the Z690 CARBON WIFI, you’ll get the same EZ M.2 clips to lock your SSD in place.

ASRock Z690 Steel Legend WiFi 6E – GDM

It has a familiar design with a large silver heat sink and a digital camouflage pattern, and is equipped with a 13 (12 + 1) phase power supply circuit by 50A Dr. MOS . In addition, “Premium 60A Power Choke” and “Nichicon 12K Black Capacitor” are incorporated, and “2oz copper foil layer PCB” that enables stable signal tracing and low heat generation is also adopted. The 12th generation Intel Core processor with improved power control can be operated stably.

MSI MPG Z690 CARBON WIFI – GDM

Furthermore, by sticking to cooling such as a server grade 8-layer board with a 2 ounce copper layer and a large aluminum heat sink with a 2-block configuration connected using a heat pipe, the power required by the CPU can be output in a stable manner. This is the reason why the power control mechanism has been improved to maximize the performance of the 12th generation Intel Core processor, which has been boosted for a longer period of time.

ASUS ProArt Z690-CREATOR WIFI – El Chapuzas Informatico

The Asus ProArt Z690-Creator WiFi starts from the premise that a content creator needs the best connectivity for external devices and networks. With this in mind, it integrates two rear USB-C 3.2 Gen2x2 ports compatible with Thunderbolt and DisplayPort , as well as a front one and numerous USB 3.2 ports . The mix of networks is also exceptional with a 10 GbE , another 2.5 GbE and a Wi-Fi 6E with BT 5.2. For the rest, it is not a motherboard that attracts too much attention, since its design is quite sober and elegant and the rest of the features are in the average of the Z690 with DDR5.

GIGABYTE Z690 AORUS XTREME WATERFORCE – $2000+ Limited Supply

The motherboard is equipped with a pre-installed liquid cooling monoblock covering both the CPU socket as well as Z690 Xtreme’s power section, and there are a lot of heat-generating components to cool down. The Core i9-12900K CPU alone will boost up to 241 Watts and that’s before it is even overclocked.

There are many similarities between Xtreme and Xtreme WaterForce as both motherboards share the same circuit design and power delivery of 20+1+2 VRMs and dual 8-pin power connectors. Same as the air-cooled variant it comes with a special cover for memory slots. While it may reduce the airflow around the memory heatsinks, Gigabyte claims that the motherboard will still support overclocked DDR5 memory up to 6600 MT/s through XML 3.0 profiles.

GIGABYTE Z690 AORUS MASTER – HardwareCooking

Today in the Hardware Kitchen we are testing the GIGABYTE Z690 AORUS MASTER motherboard, a high-end motherboard from AORUS based on the brand new Intel LGA1700 socket. Therefore , this card is only compatible with the new generation of Alder Lake-S processors like the i9-12900K , i7-12700K , i5-12600K , in short everything that starts with 12. But it is also the first generation of motherboards to support DDR5 memory as well as PCIe 5.0. So there are quite a few things to see.

BIOSTAR Z590 VALKYRIE – TweakTown

This board came out of nowhere and, surprisingly enough, is a rather solid platform. I take points away for Biostar putting Wi-Fi antennas on the board and not providing the $15 CNVI module, so they are actually usable, but nonetheless, this board is outfitted with all the connectivity; including 2.5Gbe and USB 3.2 Gen2x2, that we have seen on all other Z590 platforms.
