AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT: Reviews Are In

The new Radeon RX 6900 XT is here with the same 26.8 billion transistors, but it packs 80 Compute Units (CUs) and 80 Ray Accelerators (versus the 72 and 60 for each inside of the Radeon RX 6800 XT, and Radeon RX 6800, respectively). This results in 5120 stream processors (up from the 4608 inside of the RX 6800 XT and 3840 inside of the RX 6800).

GPU clocks aren’t any higher for the reference Radeon RX 6900 XT as they are to the Radeon RX 6800 XT reference, with Game GPU clocks of up to 2015MHz and boost GPU clocks of up to 2250MHz. The additional Compute Units provide more performance across the board, leading to 23.04 TFLOPs of single precision performance, versus 20.74 TFLOPs on the Radeon RX 6800 XT.

ZOTAC GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Twin Edge OC

We once again review a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti that’s a mouth full; meet the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Twin Edge OC 8GB, it’s the value proposition from ZOTAC with a duo of spinners. Targeted at GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER perf levels in a small form factor, will the ZOTAC card hold up? Armed with a shader core count of 4864 units, this card is paired with 8 GB of GDDR6 graphics memory running 14 Gbps. Much has been said, rumored, and spoken about this card, as with that sexy shading core count, it is bound to be a bit of a beast in that sub-400 EUR/USD price range.

MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GAMING X TRIO

MSI has a tweaked and suped-up GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GAMING X TRIO on the review chopping block today, our first custom RTX 3060 Ti. I’ve got some stock and overclocked results, where I’ve pushed the card to its limits — 2145-2160MHz or so which provides some truly kick ass OC headroom on an already kick ass card.

I didn’t know if I would get the GAMING X TRIO right away considering MSI just released its new SUPRIM X family of cards — my review on the MSI RTX 3090 SUPRIM X and review on the MSI RTX 3080 SUPRIM X. But nope, we have the MSI RTX 3060 Ti GAMING X TRIO — which is actually a very impressive sub $500 graphics card.

Palit GeForce RTX 3060 Ti DUAL OC

We review the actual budget offering of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, in a Palit DUAL OC 8GB revision, it’s the value proposition from Palit. The 3060 Ti series are bound to please many as they offer proper gaming performance competing at GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER levels, even slightly above it. Armed with 8GB GDDR6 is might but just what the gaming community needs.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Review Roundup

Today marks the launch of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, running up an MSRP of $399. This new card is the successor to the more budget minded (well, somewhat budget minded) RTX 2060 SUPER of last year. With a TDP boost of 25W over the 2060 SUPER, the new 3060 Ti boasts performance on par with the 2080 SUPER. Read more at the reviews listed below:

More to come as they roll in…

ASUS Radeon RX 6800 XT STRIX OC LC

ASUS submitted a Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics card for review; this one is a bit more special though as it has been fitted with hybrid cooling. Yes, you’ll see Liquid cooling applied on the primary GPU area, and then a fan can cool down some of the additional components. The result is a graphics card that looks stunning and is very silent, as well. The card was fabbed around a custom PCB, premium components, a hybrid cooler, and increased clock frequencies, as well as an increased power limiter.

MSI GeForce RTX 3090 SUPRIM X

You can’t really ask for more than that, but MSI does that and more — it’ll just cost you $1750 for the pleasure. At this price point, spending that much money on a single component is not right — when the RTX 3080 offers nearly the same performance for half the cost — or the RX 6800 XT that costs even less.

But, MSI knows this — you know this, I know this. MSI’s over-the-top GeForce RTX 3090 SUPRIM X is just that — OTT. It costs close to $2K but it will give you performance that is virtually unbeatable on the market right now, and all in style.
