ECS K7VTA3 v3.1
..:: Introduction ::..
EliteGroup Computer Systems, more commonly known as simply ECS is extremely well known for their line of cost effective mainboard solutions. To put it plainly, there are very few that have the capability to offer the price to performance level that is brought to the table by ECS. This, among other reasons is why ECS is frequently swapping spots with Asus as the leader in mainboard production. Another factor that makes ECS mainboards stand out has to be their use of a purple PCB. When the mod craze started, we saw several manufacturers begin to use different color PCB’s in an attempt to expand their market, and it has been fairly successful. Today, we’ll be taking a look at the ECS K7VTA3 v3.1 motherboard based off of VIA’s renowned KT333 chipset. Can this budget board surpass our older, high performance A7V266-E? Let’s find out.
