    Find the Best Prices:
    MSI KT3 Ultra2-BR
    Stephen Cooper, August 26th, 2002

    ..:: Conclusion ::..

         Well, it’s that time again, we’ve seen everything the MSI KT3 Ultra2-BR has to offer and now it’s time to sum it all up. Well, MSI has a very good offering with their KT3 Ultra2 line. The board offers up some great performance, and a fairly nice feature set for the price. I have seen this board going for around $100-120 USD on the web, depending on the options you’re looking for. For a board that offers DDR333 support, ATA/133 RAID, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, and some of the best onboard audio I’ve heard in a while, I’d say that is a hell of a deal. The board design is decent with only a few minor issues, much like we see with all boards on the market. The BIOS is nicely equipped with all of the usual tweaking and overclocking options surely to please the enthusiast crowd. The KT3 Ultra2 keeps up the MSI name when it comes to stability, only crashing once during our usual two weeks of benchmarking, stress testing, and personal use. Overall, if you’re looking for a budget to mid-range motherboard then this should definitely be one of your considerations. With KT400 boards hitting the market in the next few weeks, you may want to wait and see how things go with that if you’re planning a system overhaul. Overall the MSI KT3 Ultra2-BR managed a score of 90 / 100. Therefore, we are proud to give our MBReview.com Editor’s Choice Award to the MSI KT3 Ultra2-BR. Lastly, I’d like to shoot out a big thanks to MSI for supplying me with the KT3 Ultra2-BR for review. Thanks Philips!
