    Find the Best Prices:
    Soltek SL-75DRV4
    Stephen Cooper, March 21st, 2002

    ..:: Introduction ::..

         Until recently, Soltek has been a relatively unknown motherboard manufacturer in the United States, but the introduction of their DRV series based on VIA's KT266A chipset has catapulted Soltek to the forefront of the cost conscious enthusiast market by chipping away at market-shares once owned by pricey manufacturers such as ASUS, Abit, MSI, and the like. This fact alone is reason enough for most techies to give Soltek another look. Rather than spending their days scouring the market for the best cost / performance boards, they can have faith that Soltek will be there to fill the gap. In this review we'll be getting down to the nitty gritty with Soltek's SL-75DRV4, "Purple Ray." Let's kick things off by taking a look at this "Plum Crazy Purple" board's official specifications.
