..:: Introduction ::..
It’s been a few months now since we were last able to take a look at one of Samsung’s TFT LCD monitors, and we thought it was about time we did so again. Some of you may remember our review of the 171P, a 17” beauty designed by none other than F.A. Porsche. The 171P brought us into the digital world, and what a world it is. The monitor brought with it amazing color and performance, with only a slight amount of ghosting, something that is still very common with today’s TFT LCD monitors due to higher latency times. The 171P also came with software that allowed the screen to be rotated lengthwise from top to bottom with the desktop formatted to the new layout. This allowed for easier viewing of websites and documents. Today we’ll be looking at an equally impressive monitor from Samsung, the 172T. This model doesn’t offer all of the bells and whistles of the 171P, but it does bring along its own unique features, along with incredible image quality and color. Let’s take a look at the official specifications of the Samsung 172T TFT LCD monitor.
